This project offers customized strategies to confront intolerance on campus. The core of these strategies is to significantly increase the number of students, staff and faculty who will speak up to create a safe and respectful climate.
Campus Civility Trainings provide:
- Increased understanding of the impact of bias and prejudice
- Practical skills for intervening in low key ways when someone uses degrading language
- Motivation to demonstrate intervention skills while encouraging peers to do the same
